sayang. kung tumigas lang sana yung ice cream dun sa freezer ohh! BOOM! ganda na ng arrangement nami nun!

dahil sa absent ako lang meeting , hindi ko alam kung ano ang mga pinagkakaabalahan ng mga classmate ko. may mga gumagawa ng "mga paper na binasa at hinulma upang makagawa ng isang pigyura. May hugis ulap, o hugis arrow . Super tanong ako kung para san yun . ayun pala ay para sa ctra. o di ba windang ako. kaya hindi na ko aabsent.

anyway,

parang hindi maganda ang lab activity namen ngayon dahil minalas kame ng konti. 

bukod sa hindi nagamit ang ice cream para sa banana split kasi tunaw na, nagkawindang windang kami kung paanong design ang gagawin namin.

Ang maganda sa grupo, bumagsak na lahat ang banana split pero tuloy parin. hindi sumuko at gumawa parin.(dahil kaylangan. hehehehehe)

sa huli, naging ok naman ang aming pagkakagawa.

bahala na yung ibang grupo kung anong score ang binigay samin

basta nakain namin ang ginawa namin ..

wala nga lang ice cream.

7 things i hate about....today!

weird and bad things i experienced today:

1. we had a hard time getting our ice cream inside the fridge of CHE..

2. after successfully retrieving the precious ice cream, we found out it was half way melting already!

3. ...so our banana split FAILED.

4. i was almost late for my comm 3 class.. i was bloody sweaty when i arrived at the fifth floor of cal!

5. i was picked for the impromptu and i ran out of english words while answering the question..i was standing for  like 1 minute without uttering a single word!..: :((((

6. i was inside the katipunan jeep and there was this feminish man who was intensely cursing one jeepney driver (but not the driver of the jeep we were riding) as in over!!....his voice was so loud and the whole time the jeepney was waiting for more passengers, he was saying so many bad things about this jeepney driver he encountered daw last night..although he has a point why he was cursing the driver..pero exaggerated siya! sobra!!

7. another jeepney experience.. i rode another jeep going to antipolo. there was this old fat lady infront of me.. her hair is gray, her nails are a little dirty, she was wearing a not so clean daster..just usual. but what was weird was she was holding a poor dirty little kitten.parang napulot lang niya sa daan habang naglalakad siya.. i was looking at the kitten's face and it was like saying.."set me free set me free!! meoww!!" the kitten was trying to move to escape but the old woman's hands were big! of course i do not know what was the intention of the woman with that kitty but i had this imagination that she might eat the kitten.. im sorry for that imagination but the woman look like the lady in the nursery rhyme who ate a fly, a spider, and a cow..(i cant remember the title of that song) sana lang aalagaan niya ung pusa. :)

at first i was shy with my work and it bothers me when ma'am kitty is nearly approaching.. but God has always plan...                            if ma'am kitty don't come to our way..i don't think i would know that i should mix the colors first before applying it to my croquis book.

i enjoy mixing paint. my problem is what name will best suit the combination i made..

..wow therefore i conclude..i'm a color creator.. yeey..

i'm so happy because  i found a poster paint w/c cost 12.75..ahaaah i can buy many poster paint im so happy......

tuesday morning.. i'm in a hurry going to CIDL thinking that we have a reporting...but i was shocked  upon entering the room because I'm the third person to pull a chair in the room.

all the groups were assigned to report about color.

i agree that color is the strongest element in designing beacuse before color our topics are shape, lines and space but i really make it to the point of picking the color that will suit my work.

Colors of my LIFE

GOD paints my life blue..He gives my peace and makes me calm in times of sorrow.
Dad paints my life red...He's scary if he's mad but his love is selfless.
Mom adds a little white on dad's red color..that makes it pink..she is loving, sweet and caring!
My siblings and friends paint my life orange! They make me happy and cheerful.
*** painted my life black...He made me sad. :( good thing there's **** to cover the black and make it white..:)
Those are the colors of my life!

sa panahon ngayon nakalimutan ko na ang isang bagay na matagal ko ng nagawa. at sa sobrang tagal nito ay nakalimutan ko na kung paano maglaro ng saranggola, kung paano gumawa at kung ano nga ba ang itsura nito.

sa ctra 13 ay parang bumalik ako sa nakaraan. noong panahon na gumagawa kami ng saranggola at kung paano mag palipad nito. pero hindi gaya dati, hindi na lumilipad ang saranggolang ginawa namin. hindi na siya dinadala ng hangin sa ere. ang laki na ng pinagkaiba ng pagpapalipad ng saranggola noon at ngayon.


sa tulong ng mga kagrupo ko, sa pagsama-sama naminng kanya-kanyang ideya, sa sama-samang pag-gupit at pagkulay, sa pagkataranta, masaya parin dahil nagawa ko ulit ang bagay na matagal ko ng hindi nagagawa.

we make a kite but it doesn't fly, huhuhuhu :-) L

first time ko pa naman magpalipad ng kite..




i guess the paper we used  is not really for kite flying 


..... (oo naiinggit ako sa iba).. pero may next time pa nam


 i hope i can fly a kite someday.. but i guess i would rather buy a kite in a department store to make sure that it will really fly... I'll do that maybe,.. if i have my son.. SOMEDAY!!

***First, I would like to apologize for my late blog. Due to the black out in Metro Manila, I was not able to post my blog right away. Thanks to Burger King I was able to surf the net!

"What can we do with these shapes-circle, square and a triangle?"  That was the question which I was not able to answer last meeting. Yesterday, I found an answer to that question which we have not yet thought in the class. I can roll them! (sayang di ko naisip ito sa klase. L )

About our activity, I found it very much interesting! I never thought that I can relate the techniques I used on my drawing with the ways on how to achieve my dream. I am happy that I was able to accomplish the activity on time.

ang simpleng linya ang hindi lang basta, basta.
maari itong makagawa ng isang imahe, isang drawing, isang picture.
sa bawat tuldo na kinukunekta nito ay nakakabuo ng kung anong gusto mong ipakita.
marami kang pwedeng magawa dito,
maaring sa isang linya ay maipakita mo ang nararamdaman mo, ang imosyon na gusto mong iparamdam.
in short marami kang pwedeng gawin dito.

akala ko noong una ang linya na nagagawa ko sa bawat paglapat ng aking lapis sa papel ay wala lang. akala ko dahil sa wala naman itong nagagawang imahe ay basura lang ito. pero sa ginawang activity ay na laman ko na ang bawat linyang nabubuo ko ay nagpapakita ng maaaring nararamdaman o naiisip ko.
sa madaling salita, lahat ng nagagawa ko gamit ang linya ay kakaiba.

A line connects two dots

When I was in grade four, the only thing that I remembered during my art class was the definition of a line. My art teacher would ask one of my classmates. "what is a line?" Then my classmate would answer, " a line connects two dots." My art teacher would again ask another student, "you, what is a line?" Then again the answer was " a line connects two dots." He was not yet satisfied and he would call another student and ask the same question and the student would utter the same answer...until he would ask the same question to the whole class! 

And for years, this one and only memory from my art class helped me a lot! Before if you'll ask me the definition of a line, I would quickly answer " A LINE CONNECTS TWO DOTS!" 

A while ago ma'am kitty asked the same question and I was able to answer. Thanks to my grade four art teacher.

At first I thought my knowledge about lines are enough just by knowing that it connects two dots. But I was wrong. Who would have thought, there were a lot of interesting things and facts just by looking at a single line. A vertical line shows stability while a horizontal line may represent death. A straight line is for male while a curvy line is for female. A broken line means inconsistency while a continuous line means otherwise. And there are a lot more to mention. 

After ctra 13, I realized how useful a line is. For me, line is like the foundation or basis of every artwork. Sometimes when I am asked to draw anything, I begin with drawing a single line. That single line can give me an idea what to draw next until I end up making a finish product. Lines are also present in our daily lives. For example, the directional lines on the roads, children forming lines, lines on the floor, lines on your face, etc. And these lines are not just lines. These are functional because they convey meaning which can help us understand things more clearly.

Now, if you'll ask me, "what is a line?" 

My answer is:

A line connects two dots. It is everywhere! It can be Implied, symbolic or psychological. It can convey a lot of characters and moods like: stability for vertical line, relaxed for horizontal line, stiff for straight line, delicate for thin line. Line can symbolize a lot of things and can set a mood....

And lastly I'll say:

Illusyonada.

Lines. They can show emotions and portray different characteristics.

But what I love most about them is the fact that THEY CAN CREATE ILLUSIONS. (Admit it. You just gotta love the optical illusion picture on top. ^^,)


Speaking of illusions, I had this feeling na may hindi tama sa group kanina. Not in terms of our teamwork, it was something else. But I dismissed it as a trivial thing, so I didn't pay attention to it that much nung class.





And then... dismissal time became a bit of a confession time. Kaya pala medyo 'lutang' yung isa naming groupmate. Mas 'kinaaasaran' pala siya sa room. 'Poser' and 'feeling magaling' were the words that came out.

Nakakatawa lang. Gigil na gigil kasi si groupmate. Siguro if I were to translate his emotions by using lines ang lalabas eh jagged squiggly at messy lines.


Over. ^^, Illusion na ok sila, hindi pala.

Lines... Lines... at LINES.

Ang naging topic namin ngayong umaga sa Ctra 13 ay tungkol sa LINYA. Tama. LINYA.
LINYA ang aming pinagaralan kanina. meron din palang ibig sabihin ang mga linya na aming nililikha. (kahit na alam ko na meron naman talagang ibig sabihin ang iba't ibang linya na aming ginagawa.) Hindi ko inakala na meron pala talagang ibig sabihin ang isang guhit ng linya. tinitingnan ko kasi ang linya ayon sa nabubuo nitong pigura. kapag nakita ko na ang binuo nito na pigura, tsaka ko naman titingnan ang mga linya na ginawa niya. tinitingnan ko kung gaano ka-kapal o gaano ka-diin ang ginawang pag-guhit dito. para bang nilalagay ko ang posisyon ko sa artist. iniisip ko na ako yung gumawa ng drawing  na yon. para maintindihan ko kung bakit yun yung ginawa niyang paraan ng pag-guhit ng linya..

Habang nagkaklase sinabi ni mam ang iba't ibang uri at klase ng mga linya at ang ibig sabihin nito. pinahanap din niya samin kung anong mga linya ang nasa paligid namin. tapos ayun sumagot yung klase. nakakatuwa lang kasi ang sarap panuorin ng mga kaklase ko. ang sarap nilang panuorin. ewan ko kung bakit ko to ginagawa pero yun yung ginagawa ko sa isang klase. Habang nakikinig. pinapanood ko yung buong klase. pinapanood ko yung mga reaksyon nila sa mga sinasabi ni mam. Pinapanood ko din kung gaano katamad sila sumagot. Pinapansin ko din yung mga pambobola na hinhalo nila sa tunay nilang sagot para masabi na marami silang nasabi... HAHAHAHAHA..

Ang sarap manuod ng klase..

Ayun. nagpatuloy ang klase sa pagdiscuss ng tungkol sa linya. tinalakay din namin ang tungkol sa mga emosyon na kayang ipakita ng mga linya.. namangha ako kasi ang damidaming emosyon pero kapag pinakita mo tong linya na to. minsan specific lang na emotion yung maiisip mo sa linya. pero kadalasan maraming emosyon ang pinoprotray. malabo pa rin kasi hindi kayang ipakita ng linya kung ano talaga ang iyong tunay na nararamdaman sa panahon na iyon..
tapos nagkaroon ng exercise.. na pinagawa si mam samin. tapos yun. natapos na ang klase.. :))

Conclusion ko sa klase namin kanina sa CTRA 13: malapit nang maging art class ang Ctra. :) yehey!

hinid namen masyadong pinaghandaan ang presentasyon namen noong June 29, maaga lang naman kameng pumasok para magpensayo (hahaha hindi masyado di ba.) ... Noong una ay medyo nahihiya akong gawin ang aming inensayo pero dahil wala ng maisip na gagawin, ginawa ko na rin. At maganda naman ang kinalabasan. Hahahaha.
tungkol sa bowling ang ginawa namin presentasyon dahil iyon ang ginawa naming kakaiba at bago. Nagknock-knock kame ng kasiyasiya namang knock-knock (hehehe) at pinakita namen yung drawing na ginawa namin bilang representasyon sa experience sa pagbobowling.
Sa kabuuan, masaya at maganda naman ang araw na ito sa akin.
